Best Google Maps Scrapers for Leads in 2026 (5 Compared)

By Shivaraj, Founder, loclay · Checked against each tool's own site

We make loclay, so it's listed first; every tool's weak spots are listed too, ours included.

Every Google Maps scraper gets you the business: name, address, phone, rating. They differ on what comes after, which is the part that decides whether outreach works: who runs the business, how to reach that person, and whether you can trust the contact before it goes into a campaign.

What to look for

  • Live or database. A live search finds businesses open today; a database export is faster but can be months old.
  • The decision maker. Is the owner included, an add-on, or missing?
  • Where each contact came from. Without a source you can't tell an owner's email from a front-desk inbox, or a found email from a guessed one.
  • The real cost. Add up the add-ons for emails, contacts and phone checks, not just the headline price per record.
  • How you'll use it. A web app and CSV, or an API into your own pipeline.

1. loclayBest for: Owner contacts you can check

A web app that searches Google Maps live for a business type in as many cities as you pick, then has AI read each business's website for the decision maker and every published email, phone and social. Every contact is labelled with where it was found.

Good

  • Source shown for every contact, plus the pages the AI read
  • Owner only named when their own site names them; nothing guessed
  • Many cities in one search, 99 countries
  • 50 free leads, no card

Watch out for

  • No API yet (CSV export)
  • No phone type or carrier
  • Fewer leads per dollar than bulk tools

Price: $29/mo · 5,000 leads
5,000 leads for a month: $29, everything included

A loclay lead for a plumbing business: the owner, Maria Chen, labelled 'Found on About page'; her direct email, 'Found on Team page'; the main phone, 'From Google Maps'; a shared info@ inbox, 'Found on Contact page'; and the four website pages the AI read.
What a loclay lead looks like. Illustrative example with made-up details; real leads show their sources the same way.

2. OutscraperBest for: Pay-as-you-go with an API

A scraping platform that sells each step separately: Google Maps records, then email and contact enrichment, then phone checks. Flexible and cheap at scale if you assemble the pipeline yourself.

Good

  • First 500 records free
  • API and very large volumes
  • Reviews and other Google data

Watch out for

  • Emails, contacts and phone checks are paid add-ons
  • Contact sources not stated

Price: $3 per 1,000 records + about $3 per 1,000 for emails & contacts
5,000 leads for a month: About $28 with emails & contacts; phone checks extra · loclay vs Outscraper in detail

3. Apify Google Maps ScraperBest for: Developers who want raw data

An actor on Apify's platform, billed per event: per place, per enriched contact, per lead, per review. Powerful for developers feeding their own systems.

Good

  • Cheapest per place
  • Reviews, photos and many fields
  • Full API and integrations

Watch out for

  • One location per run (an orchestrator chains several)
  • Contacts and lead enrichment are add-ons
  • You configure runs yourself

Price: From $1.50 per 1,000 places + add-ons
5,000 leads for a month: $7.50 for places, plus per-place and per-lead enrichment · loclay vs Apify in detail

4. Scrap.ioBest for: Big exports by region or country

Exports from a pre-built, continuously updated database of Google Maps places, with emails and socials, and wider search areas on higher plans.

Good

  • Fast large exports, whole countries on the top plan
  • API and MCP on all plans
  • Claims every data point is traceable to its source

Watch out for

  • Database export, not a live search
  • No decision maker field listed

Price: $49/mo, or $35/mo billed yearly · 10,000 credits
5,000 leads for a month: $49 ($35 yearly), on its 10,000-credit plan · loclay vs Scrap.io in detail

Questions

Is it legal to scrape Google Maps for leads?

The tools here collect public business information: Google Maps listings and each business's own public website. How you use it is up to you; cold email and cold calls are still covered by laws like CAN-SPAM and TCPA in the US, so check your outreach complies.

Which Google Maps scraper finds owner emails?

loclay includes owner names in every plan; Outscraper and Apify sell contact or lead enrichment as add-ons, and Scrap.io doesn't list a decision maker field. loclay only credits an email to the owner when it's published next to their name, and shows the page it came from.

What does a Google Maps data scraper collect?

The listing itself: name, category, address, phone, website, rating, review count and hours. Emails, owner names and social profiles come from the business's own website, which only some scrapers read, and often as a paid add-on.

What's the cheapest Google Maps scraper?

Per raw place, Apify's actor starts at $1.50 per 1,000 and Outscraper at $3 per 1,000, but emails and contacts cost extra on both. With emails included, 5,000 leads cost about $28 on Outscraper and $29 on loclay, and Scrap.io's smallest plan is $49 for 10,000 credits.
